BANANA GOOSEBERRY SMOOTHIE

Bananas in the smoothie can help reduce blood sugar levels and lowers the appetite by slowing stomach emptying. It's fairly rich in fibre and resistant starch and safeguards against colon cancer while gooseberry  remains a low-calorie fruit that is rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. The addition of mango, kiwi, flax seeds and walnuts help improve brain health and increase metabolism function.

Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • ½ cup mango
  • 1 cup gooseberry 
  • 1 kiwi fruit
  • 2 tablespoons flaxseed
  • ½ cup walnuts 

 

Instructions 

Place the ingredients in the blender or food processor, and pulse until well combined and smooth. Serve in a glass and enjoy!
